Franciscan Education

The Franciscan Tradition holds a sacramental view of the world and of the human person as a reflection of God’s overflowing goodness. The Franciscan Tradition emphasizes building relationships. The Franciscan Tradition is grounded in Gospel values, balancing both orthodoxy (which emphasizes correct belief, and ritualism, the practice of rituals) and orthopraxy (which is correct conduct, both ethical and liturgical, as opposed to faith or grace).

Thus a Franciscan education is: sacramental, relational and Gospel-oriented.
